Participating in or observing these festivals, celebrations, and traditional events allow me to appreciate the diversity and uniqueness of human experiences across the globe. From the vibrant parades of Thailand to the solemn observances of Oman Day enriches my worldview but also deepens my respect for the myriad ways in which humanity expresses itself. Human Towers in Barcelona (La Mercè Festival 2023 Part 2)

After the parade of the Giants and Dwarves (Part 1), La Mercè Festival continues at the Plaça de Sant Jaume with the exhibition of Human Towers. They have band music, song, and parade of Human Towers participants. The mayor of Barcelona watches on the balcony. Spectators clap and cheer the participants. Most of Human Towers are successful with only a few fail.

The Rich Culture of Thailand Yeepeng Lantern Festival Parade (2022)

Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand Part 3. Yeepeng, and Loy Krathong Festival Parade shows the rich culture of Thailand with their golden floats and elegant attire. We enjoy walking around the town to see the beautiful traditional shows, the floral floats (krathong), the parade, street food, and flying some lanterns again. I shortened their 3-hour long parade into 30 minutes. Enjoy!
